Pequonnock Greenway

The Pequonnock Greenway is a beautiful stretch of rail trail that goes from Bridgeport through Trumbull to Monroe. Peppered along the route you will find historic sites like the Thomas Hawley House and Old Mine Park Archologic Site as well as many more that not only make it fun but also educational!

Housatonic Rail Trail

Up to 3 Miles

This gravel trail is a great place to get out with your family! The trail takes you through peaceful forests and connects you with Great Hollow Lake Park.

Shelton Lakes Rec Recreation Path

Up to 4.1 miles

The Shelton Lakes Recreation Path (“Rec Path”) is a popular multi-use path located on the Shelton Lakes Greenway suitable for bikes, baby strollers, and wheelchairs. The path is 8-12 feet wide with a crushed stone surface and is handicapped accessible.

Ridgefield Recreation Center

Up to 1.5 miles

The Recreation Center in Ridgefield is another great place to take your family. With over 1 mile of paved trails, a huge playground, and the facilities inside the center, this is a great place for young riders and will keep them entertained with other activites to enjoy after riding.

North & South County Rail Trail

Up to 36.2 miles

Looking for a great place to ride with no cars? This rail trail in Westchester is great for families out for a ride or anyone who wants to ride and not worry about traffic. The trailhead is about 20 minutes from the bike shop. Take route 35 about 5 miles past Katonah and look for a dirt parking spot and signs for bike crossing. Go left or right for miles of paved trails.
