Policies and Shipping


Ridgefield Bicycle Company accepts returns within 7 days of the original purchase date. Items must be in new unused condition with all original packaging, tags, manuals, accessories and include the original sales receipt. For items without an original receipt we may, at our discretion, issue a store credit. All returns originally paid for in cash will be issued a company check. We can not process same day returns on credit cards.

No returns on special orders or sales items - all sales and special orders item purchases are final.

Customer is responsible for registering all products with the manufacturer for warranty and insurance purposes.


Orders requesting in-store pickup will be ready the same or next business day. We are happy to accommodate quicker pickup times if you would kindly call us by phone to confirm the order prior to picking it up. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 10 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.


We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.
